CHee Cheung CHok!

This time I will introduce a nice chee cheong chok!!(a porridge)

Yum YUM!!
This stall is hidden amongst Chowrasta market!!you will need to venture into the maze of stalls and seek for this treasure!!!

Make sure you go there before 10.30am!!or else you will find nothing there!!

The business is so good that the nice uncle that sells this wonderful porridge runs out of porridge by 10.30am...(if you are lucky then this uncle will give extra ingredients!!)

However,it is not easy to miss this stall!!Old and young customers, loyal and new customers will be crowding in front of the stall.(well, something you have to learn in Malaysia is that many people does not queue up)

This porridge is kind of rare you see.

You can only find this in certain countries.(since this porridge contains pork, you should know where this thing is banned)

Normally if you can find another stall in penang selling similar stuff, you can compare the QUALITY!!
This nice uncle sells at Rm2.50...with tons of ingredients!!

The porridge has the right texture!!
CREAMY,JUICY INGREDIENTS,PEPPER-ISH FLAVOR,+PORK-ISH DELIGHT

This is what a porridge should be!!!

Paradise drink

Yo guys!Sorry but I kinda forgot to tell you that there is another drink to compliment the mee sotong!

So keep your eyes open for a sign!

"COCONUT SHAKE">>sounds so cool!

the first thing that comes into my mind is milk shake:)
A drink where they will use a machine to shake the drink up,down ,right ,left, front, back.

ITs coconut milk with an ice cream on top...
The taste however, is a bit different from normal coconut!!!You can taste the coconut milk + you can eat the ice cream + a vanilla flavoured coconut milk!!!UNBELIEVABLE!!!

                       +

I want one more...T.T(back in sg already T.T..cannot drink this anymore for the next year)

However, make sure you sit at the correct table.I experienced the ugly side of people when i was at the "kopitiam" at Esplanade. This stall is a few stalls away from the mee sotong stall.

I sat at the wrong table and I ordered this drink.

T.T

One decent looking uncle came to us and said,"Ah Boy,ai order che leh chui cheh hip peng"(Ah Boy,want order this drink ,sit there"

T.T

What to do?He "ai choi chiak"..(make ends meet)

Price:Rm 2.5
Venue:Esplanade as well
Time:Hmmm..Dunno le..anyone know ,pls tell me ..TQ :)

Mee Sotong!!!

Recently, I went back to Penang with a mission to make myself fatter before going back to Singapore.(the food there is not as nice as Penang!!!).I targeted a few stalls that make me drool.(if you have a dog, then you can know how i drool:)..First on the list,MEE SOTONG!!!
This is a special mee sotong in Penang! If anyone can find similar stall, pls do tell me!I'll go to that place like THE FLASH!!

Obviously you can see the price. It's around RM3.50 to RM5 depending on what you want to add!!One thing for sure,if you "tambah pedas",they wont charge you....But the drink stall will be happy:)

But why is it so special?Maybe this looks familiar...Give you some psychic hints!!Maybe this is the sotong:)

Anyway this picture comes from wikipedia:)

Need to cite or else I'll be plagiarising...T.T

Anyway, this "sotong" noodle is so nice that we have to wait for 30 mins for 2 plates. So next time when you plan to "pong chan" this stall, get a book and read after you order:)

The noodle is like mee goreng(stir fried noodle) but, with sotongs in this dish,it sure dish out a one hell of a combo!!*drooling*

The sotongs taste sweet and at the same time,it is spicy!!!*drooling again*(for the spicy food lovers,go grab a plate at this stall)

Very often you can hear people "lan ci"(boast themselves) by denying the fact that they cannot do something but they need to feel  superior..

I guess you can feel this anywhere.Me however, listened to my friend and go along with his words:)He said"I can stand spicy food anytime..." Guess what happens next:)haha..

After seeing his sweats dropping down (maybe into his food,i dunno),he said"I can stand eh,it's just that i will sweat alot...

after that, both of us ordered another drink each!!

Price:RM3.5 -RM 5
BUsiness time:11am-3 or 4 pm maybe...depends on your luck..Sunday is their offday...

This is how they look like..have fun....feel free to ask me anything:)
